Recording: Time to Move
Recording: Time to Move
Looking for something to help with your move to your birth place? Whether you’re traveling by car or public transportation, if you’re going to the hospital or a birth center, these recordings are a great tool!
When you purchase this set of recordings, you’ll receive 24-hour access to download a zip file, which you will then have access to on your own devices. The recordings are about 24 minutes long total.
Track 1 (11:40) contains an introduction and explanation, as well as some good positive practice and some tools that you send forward in time, so they’re waiting for you when it’s time to move to your birth place. Listen to it several times before using Track 2 in labor.
Track 2 (11:50) is a guided relaxation/hypnosis track to help you relax your body and mind, while moving from your home to your birth place. This is designed to play on repeat as needed: if you have a 12-minute or less commute, you may only listen to it once; if your ride is longer, you’ll listen to it on a loop until you arrive.

Adding audio files to your iPhone
Apple is very proprietary and doesn’t make it easy! The best way to do it is to go through a computer with iTunes. You can also play the files directly from your Dropbox, but you have fewer options for programming this way.
1. Download the file onto your computer (either from the flash drive or Dropbox—you have to have Dropbox for that part to work). Be sure you select a destination that you can find again!
2. Add your music files: In iTunes, open the File menu and select either "Add File to Library" or "Add Folder to Library," depending on how much you're adding and how you have it stored.
3. Choose the file or folder you're importing and click "Open."
4. Plug your iPhone into your computer. When connected, it will show up in the iTunes sidebar.
5. Copy songs over to your iPhone. If you have your iPhone set to sync with iTunes, just make sure the new files are selected with the check box and set your iPhone to sync. If you don't use syncing, drag the files from your iTunes library over to your iPhone on the sidebar.
6. Disconnect your iPhone to listen to audio files on your device.
7. If you have any trouble, or if you know of a better way, please let us know!
