Recording: Getting Labor Started
Looking for something to help get your labor going? Babies should choose their own birthday if at all possible, but sometimes things change. If you’re interested in helping yourself relax and accept, and working with your little one to get ready for labor and birth, you can use these recordings to deeply relax, bond with your pregnancy, and imagine your labor beginning…
When you purchase this set of recordings, you’ll receive 24-hour access to download a zip file, which you will then have access to on your own devices. The recordings are a little under 40 minutes long.
Track 1 (2:15) is an introduction and explanation track. Listen to it before using the next tracks, until you’re familiar with them.
Track 2 (10:00) is a guided “wave” relaxation track to help you profoundly relax your body and mind, Can be used alone or together with Tracks 3 and 4.
Track 3 (5:00) is hypnosis affirmations track to help you connect more deeply with your pregnancy, as you visualize some positive images. This track can be used with or without the other tracks.
Track 4 (22:00) is a long guided meditation to help you visualize your baby and your body readying for birth. Something within you is deciding… maybe you have some control over that process. Adding audio files to your iPhone
Apple is very proprietary and doesn’t make it easy! The best way to do it is to go through a computer with iTunes. You can also play the files directly from your Dropbox, but you have fewer options for programming this way.
1. Download the file onto your computer (either from the flash drive or Dropbox—you have to have Dropbox for that part to work). Be sure you select a destination that you can find again!
2. Add your music files: In iTunes, open the File menu and select either "Add File to Library" or "Add Folder to Library," depending on how much you're adding and how you have it stored.
3. Choose the file or folder you're importing and click "Open."
4. Plug your iPhone into your computer. When connected, it will show up in the iTunes sidebar.
5. Copy songs over to your iPhone. If you have your iPhone set to sync with iTunes, just make sure the new files are selected with the check box and set your iPhone to sync. If you don't use syncing, drag the files from your iTunes library over to your iPhone on the sidebar.
6. Disconnect your iPhone to listen to audio files on your device.
7. If you have any trouble, or if you know of a better way, please let us know!
